Project Management - at 145 feet high
July 2009
Recently Hallett Silbermann demonstrated their commercial project management skill and expertise in supervising the uplifting and transportation of precision engineered 4.6 metre diameter satellite antennae dishes in Hammersmith, Central London.

One of the complications for this contract was the location of the equipment - it needed removing from the 145’ high rooftop headquarters of a large television and media organisation. Hallett Silbermann uplifted the equipment using a mobile tower crane together with tilting transport frames which we specially designed and fabricated. This equipment minimised transport dimensions which would otherwise have involved expensive and unnecessary road closures. Uplifting and loading was complicated by the loading onto our vehicles only being possible in a small courtyard area which had to be accessed via a roadway underneath an adjacent hotel.
The satellite antennae dishes, once at ground level, were transported and unloaded at our large and secure storage facility in Hatfield Hertfordshire. They will sit in storage until we are requested to reposition the dishes in due course on another office rooftop in Clerkenwell, Central London.
Please contact Hallett Silbermann if you require our project management services.
