Steve grew up in a transport family and worked first as a fitter and then as a driver before joining Hallett Silbermann as Operations Manager where his past experience has proved invaluable.

With three young daughters you really wonder where he finds the time to watch football. As a 'Red', he has been seen swaying (although entirely sober - so he says) on the Kop at Anfield supporting Liverpool F.C.
